Lund names Capital Campaign Associate Director

Lund recently hired David F. Huntington of South Burlington to help lead its 50 Joy Drive Capital Campaign. The $3.5 million initiative will create a consolidated site for several Lund programs, including Adoption, Education, Child Care and its Parent Child Center.
Huntington brings extensive experience in fundraising to Lund, having worked at Bowdoin, Yale, and Dartmouth. He also served as Director of Development at the Children’s Center of Hamden, CT. At Yale he was Associate Director of Athletics responsible for all fundraising for Yale’s varsity teams. He has been a board member of the Walter Camp Football Foundation and an officer of the New Haven, CT, County Chapter, National Football Foundation.
With more than 122 years of experience strengthening families, Lund annually serves more than 5,000 children and family members. Lund’s work focuses on three goals: strengthening families, reducing child abuse and neglect, and helping to create new families through adoption. Its mission is to help children thrive by serving families with children, pregnant or parenting teens and young adults, and adoptive families.
