Fletcher Allen Partners names chief financial officer

Fletcher Allen Partners announced today that it has named Todd Keating as chief financial officer, effective June 16. The appointment was made following a national search.

He has a proven track record of navigating the financial complexities of today’s health care environment,” said John Brumsted, MD. “I am confident that the combined expertise of our finance team, led by Todd, will position us well as we transition from a fee-for-service payment structure to a population health management structure.”

Keating has more than 26 years of experience in health care finance. He comes to Fletcher Allen from UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, Massachusetts, where he most recently served as senior vice president of Business Development, where he helped lead the merger of The University of Massachusetts Medical Center with Memorial Healthcare. Prior to that position he served as treasurer and chief financial officer from 1998 to 2013. Before 1998, he held numerous business and finance positions at UMass Memorial Healthcare starting in 1993.

Prior to joining UMass Memorial Healthcare, Keating held financial positions at Windham Community Memorial Hospital, Willimantic, CT, and Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London, CT. He also served as a staff accountant at Ernst & Young, Hartford, CT.

He is a graduate of Tufts University, where he received a bachelor's of Arts degree. He is holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
