Ann Hoogenboom and Harrison Grubbs have joined forces with the 50 people at KSV already focused on sustainable energy marketing. Hoogenboom joins KSV as mission and brand manager for the New York- and Vermont-based advertising agency. She is responsible for formulating targeted marketing strategies to mobilize existing and new clients toward the agency’s mission to move people to think, act and buy sustainably.
Prior to KSV, Hoogenboom served as sustainability manager at Cabot Creamery Cooperative and as solar strategist at SunCommon. Her experience in marketing and communications is deeply rooted at the intersection of sustainability and energy with fellow certified B Corps. She holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Vermont and earned her bachelor of arts from Wheaton College.
Grubbs joins as director of strategic partnerships. He will be responsible for ensuring KSV isn’t just an ad agency but a strategic partner working to solve complex marketing and communications problems for the agency’s clients.
He brings more than a decade of experience designing, implementing, and managing energy efficiency, demand response, and sustainability programs across the country on behalf of multiple utility, municipal and commercial clients.
Until recently, Grubbs was senior regional director, New England and Southeast, for CLEAResult Consulting (formerly Conservation Services Group) in Massachusetts where he held a series of manager and director roles since 2009. Before that he owned and operated a sustainability consultancy, providing general contracting and real estate services to clients. He holds a master of science degree in green building from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture and a bachelor of arts from the University of the South.
