Meals on Wheels appoints new members to board of directors

The Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels of Bennington County has recently announced the addition of two new members — Tina Gallant from Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and Carrie Bombria of Berkshire Bank.

Tina Gallant, CMPE serves as the director of operations for the Dartmouth Hitchcock Putnam Medical Group, which consists of specialty and primary medical practices at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and clinical locations throughout Bennington County, including Northshire, Pownal and Deerfield Valley Medical Centers. Tina is responsible for the overall operations of primary care practices at SVMC and across the community.

She has over 27 years in healthcare leadership in medical group settings. She is an innovative leader with the ability to implement multiple and diverse initiatives that are critical for success in a complex and increasingly challenging healthcare environment. Born in Bennington and raised in Pownal, Tina graduated from the University of Vermont, is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and a graduate of the HANYS Academy for Healthcare Leadership at Cornell University.  Outside of professional interests, Tina devotes her time to her family, including her spouse, parents, in-laws, siblings, and 24 nieces/nephews.

Carrie Bombria serves as a Financial Services Representative for Berkshire Bank, providing financial advice and financial products for her customers, monitoring market trends, sales goals and providing overall service with solid knowledge of banking regulations.  Carrie is also a professional wedding photographer and graphic designer.  She graduated from SUNY Canton and lives in Arlington with her husband and young daughter.

Meals on Wheels of Bennington County is a non-profit organization serving over 48,000 fresh meals annually to Bennington County seniors 60 and older, along with disabled citizens in need.
