Britta Tonn joins VHB as Preservation Planner

Britta Tonn has joined VHB as a Preservation Planner in the firm’s South Burlington, Vermont office. Her Historic Preservation Planning career has spanned nine years of extensive Vermont municipal experience. She most recently worked as a Senior Architectural Historian with CBRE. In this role she prepared NEPA compliance documents for telecommunications projects across the country. Britta has worked on countless projects as an independent Historic Preservation Consultant and often contributes to her community through the Winooski Planning Commission. She is a popular lecturer with Education and Enrichment for Everyone and her expertise has landed her on the Vermont Community Development Approved Consultants List – where she is authorized to work on Section 106 reviews for the Community Development Block Grant Program.

Britta received her BA in History of Art and Architecture from Middlebury College, her MA in Education from Goddard University and her MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont.
