The Winooski City Council has appointed Paul Frank + Collins attorney Evan Meenan as the City's Commissioner to the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission ("CCRPC"). The CCRPC meets monthly and works to coordinate the planning and development efforts of its 19 member-municipalities.

The Five Town Business Council, a division of the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristol Recreation Department hosted the Better L8 than Never Car Show in late September. The event featured more than 100 vehicles—from hot rods to 80-year old classics. In addition, there were several antique snowmobiles displayed. The show featured 27 different categories.

Richard Cassidy, a founding partner at Hoff Curtis, will present at the Vermont Bar Association’s 2009 Employment Law Seminar on November 19th in White River Junction. Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced that Sara Hoehn of Colchester has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Staff Accountant. Hoehn is responsible for the Agency's accounts payable and daily cash receipts functions. A native Vermonter, she was most recently Staff Accountant at Anderson, Johns & Yao CPAs PC in San Antonio, Texas.
