30 VHCB AmeriCorps Members to Help Out in Hartford, Sharon,
and White River Junction on Martin Luther King Day
On Monday, January 15, from 9-11:30 a.m., 30 Vermont Housing & Conservation Board AmeriCorps members serving at organizations around the state will converge in the Upper Valley to help out at three sites:
Upper Valley Haven, 713 Hartford Ave., White River Junction, VT
Members will be cleaning up the children’s area.
Dismas House, 1673 Maple Street, Hartford, VT
Members will be deep cleaning the downstairs, including the kitchen, in preparation for painting.
High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program, 138 Horse Farm Road (off of Fay Brook Road), Sharon, VT
Members will be cleaning up the barn.
The Vermont Housing & Conservation Board (VHCB) sponsors an AmeriCorps national community service program, placing members that serve one-year terms with housing and conservation organizations around the state.
