NEFCU re-elects 2014 board members

Three members were re-elected to New England Federal Credit Union’s (NEFCU) Board of Directors at the credit union’s annual meeting on March 26th, 2014.

Meg H. O’Donnell, an attorney, has lived and worked in Vermont since 1988, when she moved here from New York City to clerk for Justice Ernest W. Gibson III of the Vermont Supreme Court. Ms. O’Donnell practiced law in Burlington before serving in a variety of state government positions. In 2001 she became the Director of Government and Community Relations for Fletcher Allen Health Care and in 2002 was named Assistant General Counsel.

Frank Harris is currently Director of Enterprise IT Infrastructure for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. Prior to this he held a number of positions at Fletcher Allen Health Care during a 34-year career there, most recently as Vice President of Information Services. Mr. Harris was a member of the Vermont Healthcare Credit Union’s Board of Directors for seven years prior to its merger with NEFCU, including four years as Vice President of the Board. He has served as chair of the NEFCU IT Committee since 1996.

Dr. Art Woolf joined the Economics Department at the University of Vermont (UVM) in 1980 after receiving his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Woolf served as State Economist for Governor Madeleine Kunin, then returned to UVM in 1991. He is editor of the monthly The Vermont Economy Newsletter and writes a weekly column for the Burlington Free Press.
