Norwich presents economist Jeremy Rifkin during spring lecture series

Norwich University continues the Spring 2013 Todd Lecture Series with “The Impact of Scientific and Technological Changes,” a presentation by internationally renowned economist and best-selling author Jeremy Rifkin on Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. in Plumley Armory.
President of the Foundation on Economic Trends and the bestselling author of 19 books on the impact of scientific and technological changes on the economy, the workforce, society and the environment, Rifkin’s books have been translated into more than thirty five languages and are used in hundreds of universities, corporations and government agencies around the world.
His most recent books include “The Third Industrial Revolution,” “The Empathic Civilization,” “The Hydrogen Economy,” “The European Dream,” “The End of Work,” “The Age of Access,” and “The Biotech Century.”
The Todd Lecture Series is named in honor of US Army retired Maj. Gen. and Norwich President Emeritus W. Russell Todd, ‘50, and his wife, Carol, in gratitude for their dedicated service to the University. With this series, Norwich reaches out to bring important, significant lecturers to campus. All events are free and open to the public.
