Physician assistant joins CVMC’s Family Practice Group
Tom Curchin, MD, Chairman, CVMC’s Medical Group Management Committee, recently announced that Patricia A. Driscoll, MS, ATC, PA-C joined CVMC’s Family Practice Group located on East View Lane in Berlin, Vermont. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science at the University of Vermont. She completed her Physician Assistant Studies at St. Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She is a full time member of the staff which also includes: Lucy Patti, MD; Bram Starr, MD; Tom Curchin, MD; Justine Gadd, PA-C and Pat Driscoll, PA-C,

The Vermont Medical Society (VMS) honored five Vermonters for their outstanding contributions to the health and well being of the state's residents. The award recipients were recognized during VMS's 196th annual meeting at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes.
Vermont Business Roundtable chair, Bill Stritzler, Managing Director of Smugglers’ Notch Resort, has announced the election of three Vermont CEOs to three-year terms on the Board of Directors. The new directors assumed their roles during the Roundtable’s Annual Membership meeting on January 14, 2010.
The new directors include: Leon Berthiaume, General Manager, St. Albans Cooperative Creamery, Inc. (St. Albans); Dave Finney, President, Champlain College (Burlington); and Rob Simpson, President and CEO, Brattleboro Retreat (Brattleboro).
Shawn P. Kelley, Ph.D., an associate with GeoDesign Inc., has been named a Governor of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Region 1. GeoDesign is headquartered in Middlebury, CT, with regional offices in Windsor, VT and New York City. Region 1 covers all of New England, New York, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico. Founded in 1852, ASCE represents more than 146,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide and is America's oldest national engineering society.
KeyBank recently hired Dave Corliss as Merchant Services Account Executive. He helps Vermont business owners develop customized payment processing systems, including credit card services, electronic gift cards and currency conversion solutions. Corliss brings experience serving clients as a mortgage officer and as a homeownership program coordinator in his native Oregon.
