The Vermont Chamber of Commerce announces Julie McDonough as Chamber PreferredTM program coordinator

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce announces the appointment of Julie McDonough as Program Coordinator for the new Chamber PreferredTM program, an innovative benefit marketplace providing employers with savings and customized benefits options for their employees.
As Program Coordinator of Chamber PreferredTM, McDonough will work directly with VT Chamber members, select brokers, and partner organizations in marketing the insurance-purchasing platform to Vermont employers. Educating businesses and their employees about the defined contribution model of employee benefit delivery will be key.
Betsy Bishop, President of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, notes “we are thrilled to have Julie join our team and we look forward to the energy and insurance expertise she will bring to this new position and program.”
Prior to joining the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, McDonough worked in product sales and service for Choice Strategies (formerly Choice Care Card). She also has several years’ experience in the beverage marketing and restaurant management industries.
The Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the largest state-wide private, not-for-profit business organization, represents nearly every sector of the state's corporate/hospitality community. Our mission is to create an economic climate conducive to business growth and the preservation of the Vermont quality of life.
