Merchants Bank supports Shelburne Museum with $5,000 sponsorship

Merchants Bank is sponsoring the Papering the Town: Circus posters in America exhibit at the Shelburne Museum. The $5,000 sponsorship shares circus posters from the 1800's and 1900's with guests through January 22, 2017. This is an exciting exhibit as some of these circus posters have not been displayed since becoming part of the Shelburne Museum's collection, due to their enormous size.

The purpose of the Shelburne Museum is "To enrich people's lives through art, history, and culture." They achieve this by making collections accessible, collecting meaningful art, and celebrating the history in America. Located at 6000 Shelburne Road, in Shelburne, Vermont, the Shelburne Museum is home to more than 100,000 on items display in thirty-nine buildings throughout the property.

A Vermont-chartered commercial bank established in 1849, Merchants Bank is the largest Vermont-based bank.
