Union Bank welcomes Geraghty to commercial loan team

David Silverman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Lisa R Geraghty to the position of Commercial Loan Officer. Bringing many years of banking and financial industry experience, Geraghty will be responsible for servicing an existing portfolio of commercial loans, developing and underwriting new account relationships, and promoting the Bank’s commercial lending services and products in Chittenden County. “We are very pleased to add Lisa’s experience, talent and enthusiasm to our Commercial Lending team,” said Silverman.

Lisa joins Union Bank’s Commercial Lending Team bringing over 20 years of experience working in financial institutions. Lisa’s work history includes recently working at KeyBank as a Regional Sales Executive in the Treasury department. Prior to KeyBank, Lisa served as assistant Vice President, Commercial Lender at Merchant’s Bank; and assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer at Citizens Bank. Earlier in her career, Lisa worked as an account executive at Bombardier Capital/GE Finance.

Lisa attended the University of Concordia in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and received her Bachelor of Arts in Geography. Further education includes completion of several graduate level courses at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Employee Benefits, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior. Lisa is fluent in French, both written and oral.

Lisa resides in Jericho with her husband, daughter, and beloved dog Marlee.
