Christopher Venner joins wealth management team at Peoples United

People’s United Bank announced today that Christopher Venner has joined the Wealth Management team as Senior Vice President, Senior Private Banker. As Senior Private Banker, Venner will coordinate customized private banking and wealth management services for professional practices, business owners and high net-worth families in Vermont.

Venner brings a vast array of expertise from his 10-year banking and investment career. Most recently he held the position of Relationship Manager (VP) for KeyBank’s Private Banking group in Vermont. Prior to joining Key Private Bank, Venner worked with KeyBank Real Estate Capital as a Senior Commercial Mortgage Analyst in Boston, MA. Venner also worked for Mercer HR Services as a Plan Service Representative for the Institutional Defined Contribution group.

Venner holds a BS in Finance from Providence College and obtained the Cannon Financial Institute’s Certified Wealth Strategist® designation. In addition, he is a graduate of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Champlain class of 2013. Venner is an active member of the community and currently volunteers with the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network.
