NBT Bank continues its support of the communities it serves with a recent donation to support the efforts of the Williston Community Food Shelf.

Bond Auto Parts, Inc., a Barre, VT based company, created a fundraising mission during this past holiday season and raised $30,525 for local food shelves across its network of stores. Food shelves across the region are typically hit hard during the holiday season and the money raised can go to purchasing food to replenish their shelves or help run their programs.

Members of the Windsor Fire Department performed double duty recently as they took part in training activities at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center’s former Skilled Nursing Home facility.

Howard Center recently appointed Charlotte Ancel and Kerrick Johnson to three-year terms its board of trustees. Ancel and Johnson were appointed to fill three-year terms on the Board.

The cofounders of Seven Days, Vermont’s free, independent weekly newspaper, have been chosen as two of this year’s inductees into the New England Newspaper Hall of Fame. Pamela Polston and Paula Routly will be honored at a ceremony during the New England Newspaper and Press Association conference in February.

The Vermont community has donated $110,000 for WARMTH, and coupled with the Merchants Bank matching grant of $40,000, a total of $150,000 was raised in the month of December alone to prevent Vermonters in need from going without heat.

PayData Payroll and HR Solutions has announced that Lisa Wilson, has been elected vice president of the Green Mountain Payroll Association. Green Mountain Payroll Association (GMPA) is a state wide organization serving payroll professionals. Lisa Wilson will soon be celebrating 19-years with PayData. Wilson assumed this position January 1st, 2015.
