New visual arts center opens at Johnson State College
Freeman French Freeman, Inc. recently joined the Johnson State College community in celebrating the opening of the new Visual Arts Center on April 19th.
Commonly known on campus as “the VAC,” the center is home to the painting, photography, sculpture, digital arts, print and ceramics programs at the college.
The newly renovated facility doubled in size and now contains more than 9,000 square feet of studio, gallery and classroom space. The VAC renovation represents the first addition of space to the Johnson State campus in 14 years.
Freeman French Freeman, Vermont’s oldest architectural firm, served as design architect for the $2.7 million project.
