Vermont Grocers’ Association elects directors

The Vermont Grocers' Association has re-elected Todd Keyworth of Harborside Market as its Board Chair. Todd and Lisa Keyworth own and operate a grocery store in North Hero, VT. Also re-elected were Marcel Marquis of Shaw’s Supermarkets as Vice Chair and Dwight LaFountain of Jiffy Mart as Secretary-Treasurer. 

In addition, the following people were elected or re-elected to serve on the organization’s board of directors: Tony White of the Co-op Food Stores in White River, Lebanon and Hanover, Marty Beattie of Marty’s 1st Stop in Danville, Bruce MacMillan of the Cambridge Village Market, John Dubie of Pearl St Beverage in Burlington, Jay Clarke of g housen distributors in Brattleboro and Rutland, Kim Crosby of Vermont Roots in Rutland and Doug Tschorn of the Wayside Country Store in West Arlington, VT. 

The following outgoing directors were recognized for their service on the board: Kathy Miller of The Elmore Store and Mike Baker of Baker Distributing in Colchester and North Clarendon. 

The Vermont Grocers' Association is a statewide organization representing approximately 660 stores and 260 suppliers to the industry. The elections took place at the association’s annual meeting at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel on September 15, 2012.
