Vermont’s fastest growing companies honored tonight, Green Mountain Coffee CEO to speak

The 10 fastest growing companies over the past 10 years as well as the five fastest growing Vermont companies over the past five years in four different business sectors will be recognized at the 10th annual 5x5x5 Growth Awards on Monday, September 17, at the DoubleTree Hotel and Conference Center in South Burlington. KeyBank and Vermont Business Magazine co-present the awards event.
The event begins at 4:30 pm with a networking reception, and the presentations begin at 5:15 pm. Following the awards, Larry Blanford, who has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc since May 2007, will give the keynote address.
The awards are based on annual revenue figures provided by the companies to VBM for its annual Vermont 100+ ranking of the state's largest local businesses. VBM's Vermont 100 goes back to 1987. The Vermont 100+ is published every January.
