Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont receives best practice award
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) was recognized last week at the 2012 Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association’s Blue Summit in Chicago with a best practice award for its initiatives to enhance member experience and improve customer service call resolution results.
Vermont’s locally-based not-for-profit health plan was awarded a best practice honorable mention as part of the Best in Blue MTM Best Practice Awards.
The BCBSA MTM Best Practice Awards Program recognizes those Blue Plans that have designed and implemented initiatives to enhance and improve program performance and who have achieved excellence in service performance as a result of a Plan-led member experience initiative.
Representatives of BCBSVT’s customer service team accepted the award for its submission, “Member Experience Journey, which highlighted the Vermont Plan’s program to enhance member experience and its success in resolving member issues during the first service call.
