It is anticipated that current Education Commissioner Armando Vilaseca will be an applicant.
Board members appointed to the committee are: Bonnie Johnson-Aten, Montpelier; Brian Vachon, Middlesex; William Mathis, Goshen; and Morse, Newfane.
The committee’s charge will include the following:
· Post the position of Secretary of the Agency of Education

· Interview candidates
· Recommend three candidates to the full board for consideration for recommendation to the Governor by January 1, 2013.
