The Vermont Agency FoundationTM recently hosted its 1st annual All Charity Golf Classic at the Country Club of Vermont in Waterbury.  The event format was a four person scramble with all prize money going to the charities represented by participating teams.   In all, 23 teams competed on behalf of 21 Vermont Charities with $31,000 being donated during a great day of golf.
‘August 1 was a day of giving in Vermont,’shared Randy Raner, President and CEO of the Vermont Agency Foundation. ‘This event allowed teams to compete for a charity of their choice. It was an amazing day that reinforced the giving spirit Vermonters are known for. We can’t thank enough the volunteers, golfers, and our valued sponsors who continue to support our mission and make these events a success.’
Dave Stetson, CFO at Dealer.com said ‘Thanks for putting on one of the most memorable charity golf events I have ever played. From start to finish, the format, the venue, the weather, the charities, and the competition - it was just awesome. You have set the standard by which every single charity golf event will be judged going forward. Our team cannot wait to play again next year!’
