Verizon Wireless to bring 4G LTE network to Brattleboro and White River Junction

Verizon Wireless has announced it will bring the nation’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Brattleboro and White River Junction, and 14 additional communities throughout Vermont, in the coming weeks. In the past three months, Verizon Wireless has introduced 4G LTE service in more than 50 communities throughout the state, including BenningtonRutlandMontpelierBurlington and Northern Vermont.

Verizon Wireless customers with compatible 4G LTE smartphones, modems, tablets and mobile hotspots will be able to wirelessly surf the Web, stream music and video, and download files up to 10 times faster than customers on 3G.

When Verizon Wireless expands its 4G LTE network, it will be newly available in the following communities across Vermont:

  • Brattleboro
  • Dover
  • Guilford
  • Hartford
  • Hartland
  • Londonderry
  • Ludlow
  • Norwich
  • Quechee
  • Sharon
  • Stratton
  • Vernon
  • Weathersfield
  • White River Junction
  • Windsor
  • Woodstock
