Vermont business Magazine The 5th annual Jingle Bell Express presented by Keurig Green Mountain has come and gone this past November 25th and 26th. The two-days of festive, round-trip train rides from Burlington to Charlotte, hosted nearly 2000 guestsand raised $95,000 all for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington. The annual event is a wonderful way for children and families to kick off the holiday season while supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington! Upon arrival at Main Street Landing, children were met with holiday characters, goodies and singing!
In addition to the one-hour, festive train ride, families enjoyed many other activities at the train station before they loaded the train. Visitors from Vermont Reindeer Farm welcomed guests as they arrived, face-painting, Keurig Hot Chocolate Station, photo opportunities and special guests like Miss Vermont, Santa Claus, Olaf and kids from GymKids Academy were there to spread holiday cheer.
This event made possible by our presenting sponsor, Keurig Green Mountain.
Additional support from Morgan Stanley, Hannaford Supermarket, Vermont Rail Systems and the devoted volunteers from Ronald McDonald House Charities!
About RMHC: The Ronald McDonald House is the cornerstone program of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). The RMHC of Burlington is a “home away from home” for families at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. It is our aim to be a refuge for these families during the stress and pain of their loved one’s illness. We strive to create a warm atmosphere with staff and volunteers ready to listen, relieve concerns, and show support. Our other programs include The Ronald McDonald Family Room at the University of Vermont’s Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, providing access to dental care to undeserved communities of Vermont.
