Tim Prevost, Contractor Construction Services and Harlo Wells, Project WorkSAFE will present the mobile crane portion of the program. Holly Johnson, President of Green Mountain Safety Consulting will present the man-lift portion of the program. The training will provide participants a general understanding of the safe and efficient operation of "Power Operated Mobile Work Platforms." Participants will be able to identify specific health and safety hazards associated with operating man-lifts / boom lift. We will review related standards to include: operating safely, lifting device & mobile equipment definitions, review of "fall arrest" required. The Hoist portion of the program is presented by Lee Powers an OSHA Outreach Trainer for General Industry who offers specialized safety training for material handling with overhead cranes and rigging. He works in the industry as a sales representative for several companies and maintains an active role in the safety and training arena as the owner of M L Powers & Company. He will cover the safe use, maintenance, inspection, and training required for hoist use. All presenters have had significant experience in their area of expertise and will be happy to help you with your safety and health issues. Pre-registration for this no-cost program is requested;.
