Physician Engagement: The Advantage of Trust
What could you get done if your physicians, executive team and
staff trusted each other... and how would it affect patient care?
Could the simple concept of connecting with our colleagues lead
to a more self-organized, problem solving culture?
Join Dr. Brian Wong to develop a straightforward strategy to
eliminate tribal warfare by shifting your organization
into problem solving teams with the ability to seek out
foundational problems and design curative solutions.
Together, we’ll learn how small cultural shifts can
dramatically change physician engagement and
convert reactive command and control environments
into proactive “Community Intelligence” cultures.
Dr. Brian Wong- As the CEO of The Bedside
Trust, Dr. Brian Wong’s personal mission is to solve
the healthcare crisis by building trust across all
stakeholders beginning with the example he sets. He
believes that at the root of every health care solution
is trust. He has dedicated his life to the idea that it is
possible to define, build, multiply and leverage trust
to such a degree that it becomes the most powerful
engine of positive change in every medical community.
His skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, facilitation and teambuilding
have enabled Brian to bring large groups of physicians,
nurses, administrators and other key members of the healthcare
team to discover their common goals. What has followed are
breakthrough improvements across the board: increased patient
safety and satisfaction, higher quality of care, better controls on
legal liability, lowered turnover, higher efficiency and throughput,
and improved financial performance for the organization as a
whole.
Through the Bedside Trust, he teaches all stakeholders in
healthcare the five fundamentals (that were not taught to him in
medical school) that will allow everyone to solve any problem in
their organization over and over again.
