CVMC’s 2009 Charity Golf Classic

Berlin, Vt – The 8th Annual CVMC Fall Foliage Charity Golf Classic will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Country Club of Vermont in Waterbury. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to benefit the National Life Cancer Treatment Center, which is scheduled to open in early October. CVMC’s new radiation therapy facility will have a significant impact on cancer patients and their families who previously had to endure the hardships of traveling long distances to receive this life-saving treatment. After years of anticipation, cancer patients will finally have access to high quality, state-of-the-art, compassionate cancer care in our own community 

By participating in CVMC’s Charity Golf event, you will support this great cause, and make a difference in the lives of loved ones, friends and neighbors in our community who must wage the battle against cancer, now and in the future. 

The 18-hole, 5-member team scramble tournament is a fast, fun format that allows participants to enjoy the pristine conditions of one of Vermont’s top golf courses during peak fall foliage. A wide variety of both individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available (non-golfers can consider a cash or in-kind donation).
