Call for Fine Artists and Craftspeople

Rutland, VT - September 3 - The Rutland Area Art Association presents the 48th Annual Art in the Park Fall Festival to be held October 10 & 11, 2009 from 10am to 5pm in Main Street Park at the Junction of Routes 4 & 7 in Rutland, Vermont.  This fine art and craft event is Vermont's oldest continuing arts tradition, and one of  the Rutland Area Art Association's major fund-raising events.  It was voted one of Vermont's Top Ten Events by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and recently voted as the Rutland Herald's Best of the Best Art Festival.  

 During the festival there will be live music, hourly door prize drawings, free activities for children and demonstrations of works in progress.   We are seeking potential exhibitors in the following categories:  fine art, clay, fiber, floral, glass, jewelry, photography, specialty food, wood.  All exhibitors are juried.  An application can be printed from the website www.chaffeeartcenter.org or mailed if requested by calling (802)775-8836.
