2010 Northfield Savings Bank Flying Pig Footrace

 ·        Saturday, September 4th - Northfield Savings Bank 33rd Annual Flying Pig Footrace

·        Main Street, Northfield VT

·        The Footrace consists of two races; a 1 mile Kid’s race which begins at 9:30am and a 5k adult race

beginning at 10:30am. 

·        The Footrace kicks off Northfield’s Labor Day festivities for the weekend.

 

 

There are currently 200 runners pre-registered for the race with an expected total of nearly 400 participants come race day.  This year all proceeds from the Footrace will be going to benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports.

 

The Footrace is always extremely well attended, as it is one of the biggest Footraces in Central Vermont.  There are runners coming from throughout New England who make the trip to Northfield to participate in this event, and we expect more of the same this year!
