Vermont Public Television Program Highlights

Oct. 21: Wednesday at 10 p.m., “Leading With Kindness” profiles five successful, innovative companies that employ the guiding principle that anyone can become a strong leader by practicing kindness in one’s daily work.  They include Google and a mom-and-pop clothing store.

Oct. 22: Thursday at 8 p.m., “The Power of the Poor” tells how a small group of economists helped defeat Peru’s brutal Shining Path terrorists and pressured the government to make reforms that have lifted millions out of poverty.  Vermont filmmakers Jim Taylor and Barbara Potter were leading members of the production team.
