Vermont Moosefest Gala & Auction
The Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that on October 17th, 2009 the Bennington Moosefest is holding its fabulous Gala and Auction at the Bennington Center for the Arts. The 51 huge whimsical Moose Sculptures that have been all over the Bennington, Vermont area this summer and fall will be auctioned off in the theatre while guests enjoy champagne, catered refreshments, live music, cash bar, desserts and coffee, and dancing to DJ Jim Woodward. The party starts at 6 in the evening and the auction begins at 7 p.m. A final 30 minute opportunity for placing Silent Bids on the small Table Top Moose for local schools will follow the Live Auction. Come have a great time and help support Vermont Regional Artists and the following four non-profits: Big Brothers/Big Sisters, The Young Professionals Association, the Bennington Center for the Arts, and the Bennington Free Library.
