Hosted By Sen. Sanders This Saturday
BURLINGTON, Vt., October 15 – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a member of the Senate health committee, will host a conference on complementary and alternative health care on Saturday, October 16 at Vermont Technical College in Randolph. The forum will feature a keynote address from Dr. Josephine Briggs, the director of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. “There are a lot of people in our state who are interested in complementary and alternative health approaches such as acupuncture, chiropractic therapy, yoga, good nutrition, stress reduction – and a whole lot more,” said Sanders. “This Saturday, at Vermont Tech in Randolph, we’ll be holding a conference on these issues which will feature Dr. Josephine Briggs, the Director of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
