TD Bank in Vermont Launches Small Business Outreach Effort

11/10/2010 - 5:00pm

On Wednesday, November 10, TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, will launch a full-scale, statewide small business "blitz," during which teams of lending officers and bank employees will fan out in towns across Vermont with the goal of personally visiting with more than 200 small business owners in one day.

The purpose of TD Bank's door-to-door small business effort is to spread the word among Vermont's small business community that TD Bank is actively lending to companies of all sizes, across all industries, and to discuss the needs and concerns of small business owners.

"We recognized that there's a perception in the market that banks aren't lending to small business. We want Vermont's small business community to know that TD Bank lent throughout the economic downturn, and we're lending now to help fuel the upturn," said Phil Daniels, TD Bank's Market President for Vermont. "We want this dedicated effort to demonstrate both our localized, highly personal approach to banking, and that TD Bank is serious about small business."

TD Bank is proud to support the entrepreneurial spirit by partnering with small businesses on their financial needs, supporting them with loan decisions that are made locally, and providing conveniences such as extended banking hours and personalized service. TD Bank consistently ranks as a top U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) lender in markets from Maine to Florida.

Vermont business owners interested in learning more about TD Bank's small business offerings can visit their local TD Bank store.
