The Board of the South End Arts and Business Association is pleased to present the 10th Annual South End Holiday Shop event in the South End Arts District of Burlington. The event is designed to encourage shopping local, one-of-a-kind items, made right here in the South End. We will kick off the event on December 1, 2017 from 5-8pm and continue right up until the holidays.
The South End Holiday Shop brings residents, visitors, and the community together to support local holiday shopping at over 40 creative businesses and art studio locations. “The South End has always been a fun, alternative place to shop for those one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays.” says Adam Brooks, SEABA Executive Director. “Supporting your local businesses and artists during the holidays means you are giving twice, and making a real difference in our community.” This year, SEABA is encouraging south end businesses to “up the ante” and get creative with lighting displays. SEABA and Conant Metal & Light are collaborating on an amazing light display at 404 Pine Street.
Hop and shop local for this year’s gifts! Visit artists’ studios and businesses for a range of unique, functional, and exquisite pieces- everything from stocking stuffers to gifts too big to wrap. Participating businesses and artists will also be involved with events throughout the month including live music, sales, artist markets, demonstrations, and food.
SEABA (South End Arts & Business Association) is a 30 year, member based organization located at 404 Pine Street, supporting the creative businesses in the South End Arts District and beyond. Its signature event, the South End Art Hop, will celebrate its 26th Anniversary on September 7-9, 2018.
