Business people are encouraged to attend one of the region’s best ways to promote your company, a monthly business networking session, to be held Friday, May 29, at 8 a.m., at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. This month’s meeting, organized by the Northeast Kingdom Chamber, will be held in room 127 of NVRH’s Business & Conference Center.

Business people are each given the opportunity to speak on their company for a few minutes, in hopes of encouraging more business-to-business patronization. The sessions are called "Business for Business." Company owners do not need to be chamber members to attend. There is a small fee for the NVRH session, and a light breakfast is offered.

Business owners are urged to bring and distribute their promotional materials. The meetings are held each month and take about an hour. The next meeting is scheduled to be held on June 24 at 4 p.m. in the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center, Depot Square, St., St. Johnsbury.

The Northeast Kingdom Chamber, a chamber based out of St. Johnsbury with more than 400 members, sponsors the forums. Bob Ziegler moderates the sessions.

For more details or to reserve a spot, contact the NEK Chamber at 802-748-3678 or at director@nekchamber.com. Business owners may drop by the event, but reserving a spot allows fellow participants the opportunity to bring enough promotional materials for all in attendance.
