Vermont Chamber Connects Members, Legislators, and Vermont's Culinary Artists at the Taste of Vermont
The Vermont Chamber of Commerce will present the annual Taste of Vermont Legislative Networking Reception at the Capitol Plaza, Montpelier on March 13th, 5 - 7 pm. This free event provides an opportunity for business leaders and lawmakers to mingle while enjoying signature delights from Vermont’s fine restaurateurs, cheese makers, and beer and wine producers.
The Taste of Vermont is scheduled for halfway through the session, as legislation impacting business is taking shape. “The Taste of Vermont is an excellent opportunity for legislators and business leaders to connect on important issues like health care, tourism funding and economic development while sharing food and beverages from Vermont’s great food purveyors,” noted Betsy Bishop, President of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
The reception will feature more than 20 vendors from all around the state, including J. Morgan’s, New England Culinary Institute, Randolph Technical College, Fresh Track Farm, Clean Slate Café, Shelburne Vineyard, Stoweflake Resort, Vermont Cheese Council, American Flatbread, Sheraton Burlington Hotel, The Wilmington Inn & Tavern, Vermont Spirits Distilling Co., Caroline’s Fine Dining, Michael’s on the Hill, Whistle Pig Whiskey, and the Trapp Family Lodge.
