Champlain College Management Excellence Seminar Series

Champlain College’s spring Management Excellence Seminar Series will begin April 9. The program is targeted to new and recently promoted managers and provides a set of skills to meet the challenges of:

·        Managing, developing and motivating people

·        Effective decision-making

·        Motivating, coaching and managing conflict

·        Creating an inclusive workplace

·        Performance management - A legal perspective

·        New for 2010 – workflow and process improvement

The seminar series is delivered by graduate faculty from the Champlain College MBA program and industry experts including an attorney specializing in employment law.

Seminars are scheduled for April 9, 16, 23  and May 6 and 7. Space is limited. Manufacturing, healthcare, environmental, IT and telecommunications companies will receive 50% tuition reimbursement with each full registration from the Vermont Training Program.
