CONVERSATIONS WITH A DANCER, A POET AND A PAINTER:

SERIES FOCUSES ON NATURE AND SPIRITUALITY IN ART

A  dancer, a poet and a painter share their views about spirituality and nature in their art in a series entitled Conversations: Art, Spirituality, Nature  scheduled throughout March  at All Souls Interfaith Gathering. 

Wednesday, March 10, 3-5 PM:  Andrea Olsen, Middlebury College professor of dance and environmental studies, is an author and performer who works internationally and is on the faculty of the Yoga Center Amherst in Massachusetts. She is working on her third book, The Place of Dance. She traveled to South Korea, Bali and New Zealand exploring themes for the book.

Journalist Fran Stoddard will lead lively discussions with individual artists in three interviews. The artists featured are dancer Andrea Olsen from Middlebury College, poet David Young, professor emeritus at Oberlin College and painter Eric Aho of Saxtons River, Vt.  The events are free. 

The Conversation series is presented by Shelburne Museum in association with Shelburne Farms, All Souls Interfaith Gathering and Champlain College.
