Northlands Job Corps 30th Graduation

For 30 years Northlands Job Corps Center has been serving economically disadvantaged youth in Vermont. On an average, 450 youth benefit from our program annually, which translates into more than 13,500 youth educated and trained by Northlands Job Corps Center in the past 30 years!

Our Center and our program have changed over the years to adapt to modern times and challenges, and to enhance the quality of service we provide. The newest challenge is training for green collar jobs!

With many accomplishments and successes behind us, and many more ahead of us, it is time to celebrate this milestone – 30 years of dedication to youth in Vermont!

August 12-14, 2009 several different events will be taking place at Northlands campus in Vergennes, VT.

You are kindly invited to join us at our events! Chose from among our conference Youth Training and Placement in Vermont, the Job Fair, or our Graduation Ceremony, and while here, check out the on-going events, such as the exposition on Northlands Job Corps Center, movies that will tell you more about the history and the future of our program, or take a guided tour of our campus! The 30th Graduation will be followed by a special re-dedication ceremony, when we’ll announce our new name and several changes in our program that will be introduced this fall.
