Vermont celebrates Entrepreneurship Week 2010
Saturday February 20th to Saturday February 27th
Kick off event: Friday, February 26th, 8:00 am – 10:00am in the Statehouse Cafeteria, Montpelier, Vermont
Join Vermont business leaders, educators, and non-profit organizations to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Week at the Vermont Statehouse. Entrepreneurship Week is a nationwide recognition of the heritage of entrepreneurial leadership in America, and encourages entrepreneurship education as a lifelong learning process.
Our kick-off event begins at 8 a.m. Friday, February 26th in the Statehouse Cafeteria with a Proclamation signing by Governor James Douglas. The signing will be followed by mini-presentations by business leaders, educators, non-profit organizations, high school (VT REAL Enterprise – Youth Entrepreneurship) students and college students to promote the importance of entrepreneurship to Vermont’s economy. Together through entrepreneurship initiatives we will build and sustain our rural economy; and at every level bring innovative thinking, leadership and job creation to our communities.
