Vermont Family Network Floating Fundraiser Approaches

Northern Lights Cruise on Lake Champlain to Benefit VFN Programs and Services

Join Vermont Family Network (VFN) for an evening of fun and dance on Lake Champlain as we celebrate the final days of summer in style aboard the beautiful Northern Lights cruise ship. Enjoy a dance party and live jazz provided by Joe Capps, Hillary Capps, Ray Vega, Chris Peterman, Jeff Salisbury, John Rivers, and Tom Cleary. The evening will also include light hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Vermont Family Network.

The floating fundraiser will take place on Sunday, August 22 from 7 pm to 10 pm. Tickets will be sold until August 20 at a cost of $50 per person or $90 for a pair. Attendees are encouraged to meet at the King Street Ferry Dock no later than 6:45 pm.

“This event is going to provide a great opportunity for the community to learn more about Vermont Family Network and how our programs and services impact children, families, and adults with special needs,” said June Heston, President/CEO of Vermont Family Network. “Events like this are important to help spread awareness of VFN around Vermont.”

Mount Mansfield High School students Halley Fisher, Lena Capps, Hayley Davis, and Jaclyn Meshako have worked extremely hard to organize this event on VFN’s behalf and their support has been outstanding.
