Second Small Business and Entrepreneurship Forum on E-mail Marketing Offered at Southern Vermont College

 

(BENNINGTON, Vt.)—A forum on how to build lasting relationships through e-mail marketing, online surveys, and promotional events will be offered at Southern Vermont College on Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the College’s Everett Mansion Theatre. Corissa St. Laurent, Regional Development Director of Constant Contact in New England, will speak on “The Power of E-mail Marketing and Online Surveys to Boost Business.” Constant Contact is a sponsor of the event.

The SVC event is free and is aimed at small business owners and entrepreneurs from the Greater Bennington area.

A public relations marketing expert with more than ten years of experience creating powerful marketing and brand campaigns, St. Laurent will use her business development, management and leadership skills to help small businesses and nonprofit organizations to maximize the power of relationship marketing. St. Laurent successfully launched two small businesses, including a public relations and event marketing firm and a holistic body care and wellness service. She has a proven track record of entrepreneurial success.  

This event is the second forum hosted by SVC’s McCormick Division of Business, which offers majors in Business Administration/Management, Business Administration/Sports Management and Entrepreneurship and Management with real-world exposure through class projects for local businesses and internships. Eric Drouart, Chairperson of The McCormick Division of Business at SVC says, “SVC is pleased to offer this second forum with Constant Contact on an important business topic. We want SVC to be seen as a resource for the local business community.”
