The Lake Champlain Maritime Festival sails into Burlington’s
The Vermont Auto Enthusiasts celebrate 53 years of Vermont's largest and longest running Antique and Classic Car Show this weekend in Stowe by gathering over 700 antique and classic motor vehicles of every description. This year's show will feature antique cars and trucks, classics, muscle cars, street rods, military vehicles, motorcycles and pre 1916 "Brass Era" vehicles. The three-day event kicks off Friday, August 13th with a field full of antique vehicles and a huge automotive flea market and car corral, which will be in full swing all three days.

Gifford Medical Center’s fifth annual Last Mile Ride will rev into a town near you on Saturday, August 21st. The annual charity motorcycle ride benefits Gifford patients at the end-of-life or in advanced illness.
Gifford in Randolph provides special care in a garden-side suite, the Garden Room, for patients at the end of life and to their grieving families. The medical center also has an Advanced Illness Care Team dedicated to improving care for all in advanced illness and even has specially trained palliative care physicians.

The footrace takes place Saturday, September 4, in downtown Northfield, and is presented in cooperation with the Central Vermont Runners Club. Champlain Valley SCORE announced the schedule for its Roundtable Discussion Series for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. The Roundtable Discussions will be held in Burlington on the first Tuesday of each month, starting in September. The discussions are targeted to the small business owner and will cover a range of topics including developing a brand, designing a business model, finding financing, using social media, and practicing your elevator pitch.
