Southern Vermont College is introducing a new, eight-session program this summer so that aspiring business leaders may earn an E4 Certificate in Organizational Excellence. Based on criteria for the National Malcolm Baldrige Award, often viewed as the highest standards for quality in the industry, the E4 program stands for Efficiency, Effectiveness, Enrichment and Excellence. Witness the competition, color and pageantry as 1600 racers paddle for glory in Burlington’s fifth annual Citizens Bank, Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday, August 8 at Burlington’s Waterfront Park. Cheer on 72 Vermont community teams and 4 Breast Cancer Survivor teams from the U.S. Richmond, VT: The Vermont Fresh Network (VFN) will host its annual Forum at Shelburne Farms' Coach Barn on Sunday, August 8. This year's theme, Conversations about Food and Culture, celebrates American's relationship with food: past, present and future. Author and editor Judith Jones and food journalist and cookbook author Marian Burros are this year's keynote speakers. | ||
